We are learning multiplication and skip counting in 2s ,3s,5s and tens.We play Beep to help us, Mrs Tyson brings instruments to help . I like the instruments because they are interesting .
We use a gourd to play the game Beep there is a soft sound and a really loud sound when we want to switch and go back we make the soft sound, but if we want to keep on going we make the loud sound. At the moment we are learning our multiplication 3s,5s,and 10s.
Room 5 has been learning our multiplication 2s,3s,5s, and 10s. We have be practising with beep which is a game. How you play is you get into a circle and you choose a times table. If you choose 5 times we started counting until someone gets to a multiple of 5. And then that person says beep and sits down.
Today we played a game called beep. You can count in 2s,3s,5s and 10s. We used a musical instrument called a gourd. So what we do is that we go round in a circle and count in 2s 3s 5s and 10s. And if we want to keep going and if we want to change directions you make the soft sound.
This week in maths we are learning to do multipication we are learning our three timetables we do 2x5=10 then 3x5=15 because you add only five more on.

This week we learned our 3x tables to help us with problems, like 2x3=6 so whats 3x3 because from 2x3=6 so add on another 3 so now we have 3x3=9.
